The best in each of us inspires all of us
A few tips to get you started
-
Where are you located?
We are just west of the Glades & I95 exit on Glades Rd in Glades Plaza Shopping Center. We are on the backside of the plaza facing 19th st in suite 401. If you get lost, call us. We will guide you here.
-
I want to try a class. How do I start?
You can create a log in & password, search the schedule for the class you are interested in, and then reserve a spot. In order to reserve, you will need to purchase a single or multiple series. If reserving a spot in a cycle class, you will also choose your bike from the interactive bike map at time of reservation. Reservations for the week will open on Mondays at noon for classes beginning on Tuesday thru the following Monday. If you prefer to call in, one of our staff members can complete the process for you. We accept walk-ins as well based upon space availability.
-
I haven't worked out in a while. Are the classes hard?
Listen, we aren't going to lie to you. Our classes are challenging. But, you wouldn't come here if it was like a ride in the park, right? All our classes can be adjusted to where YOU are working at a level that fits YOUR needs. This is true for our cycle, yoga, & body classes.
-
Do you have showers available?
YES! We have two showers & a changing room in both the men's & women's bathroom facilities. But, we didn't put in shower facilities for your benefit. We installed them for the guy who's got to sit next to you all afternoon after your lunchtime cycle class. We also considered how your date would feel if you didn't shower after taking the 5:30 class. You can thank us later.
-
What about childcare?
We do not have onsite childcare available. But, here's an idea for you. Bring you kids age 6+ to our complimentary Kids Karma Yoga. They will work on their inner child while you catch up with your friends.
-
Where do I keep my stuff?
Well, lockers of course! We have lockers available for daily use and a limited supply of lockers that can be rented monthly.
-
How do I get a cool BREATHE shirt like yours?
Well, thanks & I'm glad you asked. All of our BREATHE apparel is for sale in the reception area.
-
Do you have yoga mats?
We do have mats available for use but feel free to bring your own mat with you. We also have some mats for sale.
-
What about towels?
Towels are available for classes & for shower facilities. Use as many as you want. Just don't take them home with you.
-
I forgot my water bottle, do you have water?
Yep, we sure do. We have a water fountain available, and we also carry bottled water for sale.
-
Do I have to wear bike shoes?
No, but we highly recommend it. Our bikes are SPD clip compatible, or you can also wear hard sole sneakers. We will have a limited number of bike shoes available for sale. If you become addicted to cycling (which we are sure you will) you will want to invest in a pair.
-
Bike seats are uncomfortable. How to I make it so my butt doesn't hurt?
You can start by trying a gel seat. We have a few available for use in the cycle room or for purchase at the front desk.

1. IT'S COOL TO BE KIND
Treat the front desk the way you want them to treat you; be nice to your fellow BREATHE bodies. We're all in the big boat of life together and there will be a time when you will need someone to throw you a life preserver. You'll have a better chance of them hitting the target if you've lived your life with kindness in your heart and respect for others.
2. NO CELL PHONES/BLACKBERRIES/IPHONES IN THE STUDIOS
If you are a doctor and are on call or you have a sick child, leave your phone with the front desk and we will make sure to come get you if you are needed immediately. Otherwise, just leave the mobile devices in your locker or car. Hearing your neighbor's Eminem ringtone as you are in full expression of a Warrior 3 pose just isn't cool. Neither is having your neighbor type away as you are pouring your guts into a charge up the hill on your cycle.
3. LAUNDRY
We ride/practice close together in order to feel and feed off each other's energy. What we don't want, however, is to feed off our neighbor's odor. If you can smell yourself, chances are, so can your neighbor. It's probably time to dump that Aerosmith circa '82 tank top for a nice new BREATHE tank.
4. TALKING
Here at BREATHE, we love to talk. We want to know everyone who takes our classes and we want everyone to get to know each other. We are a community. But, we ask that you get to know your community before and after class, and not during. Our instructors put their heart in soul into giving you 100% of the very best they have to offer during each and every class. Talking during class is a major distraction for those around you trying to envelope the spirituality of the moment. For many, this is the one moment of their day that they are dedicating to themselves. Don't ruin it for them and for you by discussing last night's episode of Desperate Housewives during class.
5. GROUP ENERGY
Our philosophy at BREATHE is that the group energy can be a powerful force when it's flowing together and in a positive direction. If you want to do your own thing and not stay with the flow of the group, please don't do it in the front row.
